Newberry Christmas Tournament

Newberry High school will participate in the 2015 Christmas tournament starting at 6 pm, Monday December 28th. The first game will be the Clinton Red Devils vs the Batesburg Leesville Panthers at 6 pm. The Bulldogs will play Woodruff High school at 7:30. Please come out and support the Bulldogs in their annual Christmas Tournament. Coach Strickland earns Head Coach of the 2016 Shrine Bowl

Newberry High school’s Coach Strickland was selected to be the head coach of the 2016 Shrine Bowl. He was selected for the head job on December 19 at the 2015 Shrine Bowl. He will be coaching in his 35th year as a coach in South Carolina and his second appearance as a coach  in the Shrine

Boys Basketball defeated by Chapin

Newberry High School boys basketball played another intense and thrilling game vs. Chapin Saturday afternoon. The Dogs  were defeated 56-46. The Bulldogs will receive much needed reinforcements this week when they play Saluda, Thursday(6pm) and the rematch with Chapin(1pm) on Saturday. Great Season for Bulldog Football

The Newberry High School football team was defeated in the AA Division  I state championship game 51-19. The Bulldogs were in their second consecutive state championship and four straight 10 or more win season. The Dogs finished the year with 11 wins and 3 losses. The program produced a North/South  performer in JaCere Caldwell and two
