Boys Junior Varsity Football, Boys Varsity Football · Bulldogs hang on against Union County, 34-27


The Bulldogs defeated the Union County Yellow Jackets, 34-27, Friday night in Union, SC.  It was the first regular season game for the Bulldogs and they were able to pick up a big win.

Yafari Werts led the way with 142 yards on 8-12 passing and he, also, rushed the ball 14 times for 91 yards.  Amir Abrams was just shy of the century mark in rushing with 98 yards.  Zy Riley led the receiving corps with four receptions.

Also, Zy Towns and Chris Wadsworth were able to find the endzone for touchdowns of their own.  This Friday the Bulldogs will travel to Clinton, SC to take on another rival, the Red Devils.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
